Showcasing material handling solutions that improve safety and efficiency

St. Louis, MO – August 19, 2025 – Consolidated Truck & Caster will be exhibiting at the Midwest Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Conference this fall. The event, hosted by the Missouri Association of Manufacturers, takes place from September 22 to 24, 2025, at The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks.

The annual conference brings together manufacturing and safety professionals from across the region to share best practices, learn from industry leaders and explore new products and services that support safer, more efficient workplaces.

Led by Rob Doucette, Sales & Applications Engineer at BOSTONtec, the session highlights results from a time-and-motion study conducted by the Ergonomics Center of North Carolina at NC State University. The study examined how workstation design affects accuracy, injury risk and throughput during common assembly and packaging tasks.

Attendees will learn:

• A simple process for optimizing design to fit different tasks and users.
• Ways to apply ergonomic principles to reduce repetitive strain injuries.
• How small design changes can produce measurable improvements in efficiency and cost savings.
